Seminars: We enjoy sharing what we are learning with others as well as displaying samples of what is currently in season. Listed are several programs I have presented at our farm or for garden clubs, church groups, etc. Our family has also done several homesteading demonstrations at Lehmans store. The months listed are peak times for bringing beautiful samples.
Other seminar ideas that are waiting for a good reason to develop: edible flowers, culinary herbs, gardening for kids, tea/stevia, wonderful weeds, recycled creations, plus a chef friend and I are exploring the possibility of doing gardening/cooking demos for a group in your home with the option of serving a luncheon or tea with snacks from what we create.
Flower Parties for girls (birthday or other event you host): making hollyhock dolls (June/July), cornhusk dolls, tussy mussies (mini bouquets), card making with pressed flowers.
The charge for a program is $30-40 depending on topic. If it involves a craft or take home item there is a small additional charge per person.
